Frozen Head is under construction so we will explore some of the Norris Watershed trails. We'll start from the Lenoir Museum, take Lower Clear Creek and Dyer Hollow trails to the Observation Point trail and go up to an excellent overlook of Norris Dam. We'll go back down and up and down to make a small loop and then make a larger loop crossing at the water treatment plant. The hike will be about 8 miles (unless the leader gets confused) and moderate but with a number of significant ups and downs.

Carpool from the Outback Steakhouse parking lot, 314A Merchant Drive, right off the I75 and Merchant Drive exit ready to leave at 8:30 or the W G Lenoir Museum, 2121 Norris Fwy, Norris, at 9:00. Carpooling 40 miles @ .07 is 2.80 rounded up to $3.00.

Leader: Claudia Dean (865 206-0145) claudiadean0@gmail.com.
