Come out and enjoy the autumn weather on a classic Smokies off-trail route to the summit of Mt. LeConte. The leaves should be beginning to change and the air crisp as we rock-hop up a beautiful little creek. We have several routes from which to choose, each one with its own charm. Maybe we will pass beneath a huge bluff, or stroll through a grassy meadow, or climb a rocky scar. Whichever way we go, we will find the going steep toward the top. However, our efforts will be rewarded when we pop out on Myrtle Point and view the world at our feet. Rated hard off-trail. You must register with the hike leader.
