Honey Creek Loop is an all-time favorite of the Club’s and offers just about everything you can experience on a hike. Several rock houses and waterfalls can be admired along the way. There are boulder scrambles to navigate and points in the trail that cross over and through streams. There are ladders to climb and great views overlooking the Big South Fork.
Although only 5.7 miles, the hike is rated difficult due to the challenging obstacles encountered. Meet at 8:00 am at Books a Million parking lot, 310 South Illinois Ave. in Oak Ridge (meet out by the road). Drive 110 miles RT. Recommended carpool reimbursement to drivers $7.
