This hike is approximately 3.6 miles. We will hike to the John Oliver Cabin, one of the oldest in the GSMNP. Bring hiking poles, hiking boots, water, snack, hand sanitizer. Meet at 1 pm at the old Food City in Alcoa (131 North Hall Rd.). Car poolers pay driver $0.10 per mile which is approximately $6.50. Or meet at the information kiosk at the entrance of Cades Cove. We will park cars in that parking lot. If anyone comes down with Covid symptoms please phone Adele and cancel.
